Local artist faces long recovery after Orlando bicycle-Jeep crash
Again, the invisible placement of a bicyclist leads to a serious collision with a turning motor vehicle. The Jeep driver said the sun was "in his eyes." He was also squinting to see oncoming traffic where he expected to see it, not on the road edge/gutter, but in the oncoming travel lanes.

I'm amazed that the motorist was actually ticketed as a result of this crash.
Around here we have had several drivers in the past couple years cause fatal crashes due to driving too fast for conditions and they all walk away with no consequences at all.
Are there no longer any Dallas cycle issues in the press or elsewhere?
